In order to protect the environment, which is a highly important and sensitive issue in industrial plants, South Kaveh Steel Company has installed a dust collection system in the steelmaking unit, and the smoke and dust caused by the melting and refinement processes in arc and ladle furnaces will be transported to this system through special channels equipped with water circulating systems (at required points) to be collected in the system, thus preventing environmental pollution. The output of the dust collection system is based on environmental standards, and it is monitored online. It is worth noting that the dust obtained from this system can be utilized in various industries, including chemical and petrochemical ones.
