The Quality Control Of The Finished Product

  • Hot Ingot Inspection

Objective: reducing the production of incompatible ingots.

Control parameters: area, rhomboidity, cracks, and any type of defects which can be observed in this substation.

Location: during the production of the ingots in the casting station.

  • Cold Ingot Inspection

Objective: controlling and checking the manufactured ingots and identifying any type of defects and incompatible products, and classifying the manufactured ingots.

Control parameters: visual inspection and controlling for all the potential and possible defects.

    Location: cold inspection beds.

  • Inspecting Cutting Beds

Objective: controlling the process of correcting and cutting dimensionally-incompatible ingots.

Control parameters: area of the ingot, presence of central cavities.

    Location: dimensional ingot cutting beds.

  • Inspection before the Loading of the Ingots

Objective: controlling and comparing the ingots with the bill of lading and the final inspection of the products before they exit the company.

    Location: the exit station.
